This might be the most quintessentially Irish craft beer in existence
STOP EVERYTHING – WE have found the most Irish craft beer in existence.
Introducing Brian’s Brew, a beer that features the face of former Taoiseach Brian Cowen on the bottle.
It was spotted by reader Ronan Hourican in Dublin pub The Boar’s Head.

So, what is the story behind this Irish brew?
It was manufactured by The Craft Brewers of Ireland to celebrate the decision of the then Minister for Finance Brian Cowen to reduce excise duty for small brewers in the 2004 budget.
So, it’s basically a throwback to the good times and a celebration of the former Taoiseach.
Gotcha.
(Thanks to Ronan Hourican for sending this our way.)
